Usage & Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated August 2026

MyChandha is built for genuine community events. This policy keeps it that way.

Expected use

  • Represent a real community event and a real committee.
  • Publish accurate event, venue and contact information.
  • Record contributions honestly and correct mistakes by voiding with a reason.
  • Use the funds collected for the purpose stated to donors.
  • Give committee access only to people who genuinely need it.

Not allowed

  • Impersonating a committee, organisation, temple, trust or person.
  • Collecting money for an event that does not exist or misstating what the money is for.
  • Publishing unlawful, hateful, obscene or infringing content or media you do not have the rights to.
  • Publishing donor personal details, or using donor contact details for marketing or unrelated messaging.
  • Using MyChandha for lotteries, gambling, political funding, or any purpose restricted by law or by the payment partner.
  • Attempting to bypass access controls, probe other committees' data, scrape the service or disrupt it.

Enforcement

We may unpublish an event page or suspend access where this policy is breached, and we may be required to act on a payment partner's or a lawful authority's instruction. Report a concern through support.
