Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2026
This policy explains what MyChandha collects, why, and what is never shown publicly.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, mobile number and, if you provide it, your email address and city.
- Committee details: committee name, type, contact details and the members a committee adds.
- Event details: everything a committee chooses to publish on its event page.
- Contribution records: amount, channel, date and any donor details the committee or the donor supplies.
- Payment references reported by the payment partner, such as an order or payment id.
What is public and what is not
A published event page shows only what the committee marks as visible: event information, schedule, team, sponsors, media and an overall contribution total.
Donor names, phone numbers, email addresses, individual contribution amounts and any committee-private financial detail are never shown on a public event page.
How we use information
- To operate the committee workspace, the event page and contribution records.
- To send transactional messages such as sign-in codes, invitations and contribution receipts.
- To keep an audit trail of sensitive actions for the committee's own protection.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers
We use service providers to run MyChandha: cloud hosting and database, a payment partner for online contributions, an SMS provider for sign-in codes and an email provider for transactional email. They receive only what is needed to perform their function.
Retention and your choices
Contribution and receipt records are retained as financial records of the committee. Profile details can be updated from your account at any time. For deletion requests or any privacy question, contact us through support.
